Montana State University announced the members of the 18-member search committee that will choose the next chancellor of Montana State University Billings.

They are:

• John Cech (chair), deputy commissioner of higher education

• Dan Carter, public and government affairs at ExxonMobil Billings Refinery

• Reno Charette, director of American Indian Outreach at MSUB

• Diane Duin, dean of MSUB College of Allied Health Professions and interim dean of the College of Business

• Mary Susan Fishbaugh, dean of MSUB College of Education and director of MSUB Graduate Studies

• Katelyn Focht, president of the Associated Students of MSUB

• Vern Gagnon, instructor of automotive technology at City College and vice president of MEA-MFT, MSUB local

• Paul Gatzemeier, executive director of Horses Spirits Healing Inc. in Billings

• Susan Gilbertz, professor of geography and chair of MSUB Faculty Senate

• John Gun Shows, student at City College

• Mike Gulledge, publisher of The Billings Gazette and Missoulian

• Joy Honea, professor of sociology, chair of MSUB Department of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies and president of MSUB Faculty Association

• Lenette Kosovich, CEO at Rimrock Foundation

• Steve Loveless, president and CEO of St. Vincent Health Care

• Robert Mokwa, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Montana State University

• Lisa Perry, community relations manager for NorthWestern Energy

• Martha Sheehy, regent, Montana University System

• Sheri Steiner, administrative assistant and MSUB chair of the staff senate

A consultant, Greenwood/Asher and Associates of Florida, was hired to assist the committee. The first meeting will be Nov. 3 at City College.
