The Family Tree Center-Billings Exchange Clubs’ Child Abuse Prevention Center will host the seventh annual Island X Adventure Race at Riverfront Park on June 1.

All ages and abilities are invited to walk or run a fun and exciting course of natural and man-made obstacles, the agency said in a press release.

Dressing in “Survivor” style or tropical-themed costumes is encouraged, with prizes awarded for best costume. Other prizes will also be awarded throughout the day, including team prizes.

Registration costs $30. The price includes refreshments at the race and a tank top. Proceeds benefit The Family Tree Center’s community programs.

Teams and individuals may register through June 1 at runsignup.com/Race/MT/Billings/IslandXAdventureRace.

Packet pick-up will be at The Family Tree Center, 2520 Fifth Ave. S., from noon-6 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Registration and packet pick-up will also be available at the race site from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on June 1.

The race starts at 9 a.m. A free kids’ race will take place after the event.
