A Billings judge gave a three-year prison sentence to a woman who fled a Billings pre-release program last July.
Lasondra Rose Sandcrane previously admitted to escaping through window at Passages in Billings on July 27, 2013. Officers arrested her in Orange County, Fla., on Aug. 14, 2013. Sandcrane was serving sentences for felony drug convictions.
District Court, Judge Ingrid Gustafson ordered that the three-year sentence run in addition to any sentences Sandcrane is already serving.
“I’m sorry for what I did,” Sandcrane told the judge. ”And I’m on the right track now with my life.”
Sandcrane was sentenced for accountability to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, criminal possession of dangerous drugs and forgery in Yellowstone County and arrived at the Passages program on July 1, 2013.
