Kelker's Kids and Billings Clinic's pediatric cancer team, will host the Eighth Annual Kelker's Kids Balloon Tether at 7 a.m. on Saturday at ZooMontana.
This event is for Billings Clinic Pediatric Cancer patients and their families.
Jack and Pink Way of Cody, Wyo., will pilot the hot air balloon. Following the balloon rides, families will tour the zoo together giving them the opportunity to enjoy the company of others experiencing similar medical treatments and challenges.
Dr. Paul Kelker has grown the first pediatric oncology department in the region at Billings Clinic for the past few decades and is now joined by Dr. Courtney Lyle.
The Kelker’s Kids fund was started through the Billings Clinic Foundation to help families make ends meet while a child undergoes cancer treatment. To make a donation to Kelker’s Kids, call the Billings Clinic Foundation at 406-657-4670.
