Yellowstone County area legislators will offer their third legislative update and answer questions from local constituents, via closed-circuit television, on Thursday, beginning at noon, at the Montana State University Billings Downtown Campus, 214 N. Broadway.
The teleconference, via MetNet, gives lawmakers a chance to update citizens about current legislation and progress in the first five weeks of the 2007 Legislature. Local residents and others who want to participate in the conversation are asked to gather at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus location 10 minutes early.
Those who are not able to attend the teleconference may submit questions for their legislators by e-mailing Dan Carter, MSU Billings director of government relations, at email@example.com. Preference for questions within the limited time frame of the teleconference will be given to those in attendance; however, if time allows, Carter will pose questions submitted through e-mail. Submit e-mailed questions by Wednesday.
Viewers may watch the broadcasts on the Web sites of The Billings Gazette and MSU Billings, for possible answers to their questions.
