Parks programs to begin sign-up Day camps, youth sports, tennis for all ages, swimming lessons and day hikes are just some of the activities offered through Billings Parks and Recreation Department summer programs.
Mail-in registration for the activities starts Monday.
Booklets listing activities are available at The Recreation Department's new location and at Parmly Billings Library, 510 N. Broadway. The booklets also include the registration forms required with each sign-up.
Fees vary for the programs, and many are timed so that participants could be involved in a variety of activities throughout the summer.
The booklet also describes public parks, swimming-pool hours and other special events. Arts and enrichment courses are among the offerings.

To sign up by mail, send the registration form, check and other information to the new department address: Billings Recreation Department; 390 N. 23rd St.; Billings, 59101.
A 24-hour drop box for registrations is outside on the southwest corner of the library.
Walk-in registration for first-session programs will take place at the Recreation Department 4-7 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, May 28-30, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, May 31. Discount prices apply to registrations through May31 or if you apply five days or more before the signup deadline for a particular course.
