Open horse show slated in LivingstonLIVINGSTON — Registration is open for the third annual Windy City Open Horse Show, set for Saturday, Aug. 18.
The show is sponsored by the Park County 4-H Horse Committee as a fund-raiser for its activities, and is sanctioned by the Southwest Montana Mini-Circuit.
The event is an open horse show — anyone can participate on any breed of horse. The show starts at 9 a.m. at the Park County Fairgrounds in Livingston.
Classes will include Horsemanship, Equitation and Pleasure classes for both English and Western riders; Halter; Showmanship; Leadline; Walk/Trot 8 and under; Pairs; Open Reining; Bareback; Hunter Hack; Open Jumping; Weanling, Yearling and Green Horse classes; Trail; Jack Benny (for riders over 39); Costume, and others.
Entry in each class is $6 in advance or $7 the day of the show. There will be four High Point Awards, one each for Westerns English, 17 and under, and 18 and above.

The proceeds will help finance the many charitable projects in which the group is engaged.
