State EPA offices moves MondayHELENA – On Monday, the Montana Office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will begin moving to new office space in the Great Northern Town Center in Helena.

The EPA Records Center will be on the third floor of the new building.

The new mailing and street address is: US EPA–Montana Office; Federal Office Building; 10 West 15th St., Suite 3200; Helena, MT 59626.

The new main telephone number is (406) 457-5000. The new toll-free number is 1-866-457-2690. The toll-free number for the EPA Regional Office in Denver is 1-800-227-8917.Pilot Club plans luncheonThe Billings Chapter of Pilot Club will have a lunch Feb. 7 at the Petroleum Club.

Pilot Club supports those with brain-related injuries, diseases and conditions through a variety of interpersonal activities, education and fund-raisers.

For information, call Lily at 252-6789 or Jill at 256-0180.Home buyer class set in LaurelLAUREL – A free Home Buyer Education class will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Laurel City Hall Council Chambers at 115 W. First St.

On the second Saturday of each month, The Beartooth RC&D, in cooperation with Neighborhood Housing Services of Great Falls sponsors a free class designed for first-time, low-to-moderate income families, disabled, handicapped and single heads of households who are trying to buy a home.

Completing the NHS class is one step in qualifying for financial assistance for down payment and closing costs and helps to qualify for other programs that provide assistance or lower interest rates for a home mortgage. Topics include credit, budget, finance, loan programs, the mortgage process, and protecting your investment.

At lunch, participants will have a chance to talk with professionals involved in the home buying process about their own particular circumstances. Bring a sack lunch.

According to concert promoter Bravo Entertainment of Boise, Idaho, tickets for the Billings show will go on sale Feb. 9. No further information on the Billings concert was available Friday evening.

Tickets for the Bozeman concert go on sale Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. and are available at the Fieldhouse box office, Tik-Cat Outlets, CD Warehouse, Cactus Records, Music To Go in Helena or by calling 1-800-808-5940.

Reserved seats for the Bozeman show are $34.50 and $24.50.

Styx last performed at Metra in October 1983, drawing 6,019 fans. A June 1981 concert drew 11,292.

REO Speedwagon last appeared at Metra in April of 1985 with Cheap Trick. The concert drew 10,603 people.Free presentations set on experiences abroadThe international students of Rocky Mountain College will offer a series of presentations about their home countries or study-abroad experiences during the college’s spring term.

Most of the free presentations will be by students from other nations who will offer brief overviews of their home countries and aspects of particular interest, says Ken Briggs, Rocky’s director of international programs.

The Tuesday, Feb. 26, presentation will be by participants of some of Rocky’s short-term study-abroad programs.

After the presentations, the audience is encouraged to ask questions.

The presentations will be at 7 p.m., in the Bair Family Student Center on the RMC campus.
