The Sample Foundation has awarded two grants to local organizations.
The Montana Rescue Mission, Women's and Family Shelter received $5,000 for a program designed to assist homeless school-age children residing at the shelter. These funds will help furnish the Resource Room, which is part of the Reach-Out program, which provides recreation, education, arts, culture and health opportunities for homeless children.

Eagle Mount received $15,000 to purchase a pickup truck to transport adaptive equipment to and from its programs. Eagle Mount offers recreation opportunities to enhance the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
