A Billings man accused of having stolen guns pleaded not guilty Wednesday to federal charges.
Bryce Widner, 20, was indicted on two counts of possessing stolen firearms and two counts of possession of a firearm by a drug addict. Widner allegedly had a stolen Beretta .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a Jennings .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol in May and was an addict at the time, the indictment said.
Widner faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on both crimes if convicted.
U.S. Magistrate Richard Anderson set a detention hearing for Thursday and continued Widner's custody.
