A Billings man who police said smoked methamphetamine while nude in an adult bookstore privacy booth was charged Wednesday in Justice Court.
Gary Lee Pulver, 40, was charged with felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. His bond was set at $2,000 and he was ordered to appear Monday for arraignment in District Court.
According to court records, an employee at the Big Sky Adult Book Store on First Avenue North called police on Tuesday. The employee told officers that a customer complained that a man was in a booth smoking crack. The employee said he went to the booth and saw the man naked and smoking something that was not a cigarette.
The officers said they checked the booth and talked to the man inside. The man was clothed when he eventually stepped out of the booth. The officers said they found a warm lighter in the man's clothing, a small bag of methamphetamine in a coin slot in the booth and a pipe in the floor behind the bench in the booth.
