Sheldon Mark Warren appeared for arraignment before Judge Gregory Todd by video from the county jail. Warren pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of indecent exposure. Todd set bond at $25,000 after prosecutors said Warren has a lengthy criminal record with 24 misdemeanor convictions, including two prior cases of indecent exposure, and several felony convictions.

Warren was arrested recently on a warrant charging him for an incident reported July 23. According to court records, police were called to the City Brew on North 27th Street at about 12:20 p.m. The 63-year-old woman told an officer she was in the parking lot when she saw a man exposing himself.

The woman said the man told her he was going to urinate, and the woman responded that he could not do that because it would be considered indecent exposure. The woman then told the man she was calling 911.

The woman said the man then jumped on her and knocked her down. He also touched her groin before running away when the woman started screaming for help. The woman injured her wrist in the fall. She identified Warren as the assailant from police photos.
