The Breakfast Exchange Club of Billings elected its 2018-2019 board officers and directors.
Officers are Cory Hasiak, president; Rene Critelli, president elect: Ed Kaufman, treasurer; and Dina Harmon, secretary.
Directors are Tony Parish, immediate past president, Chris Kosine, Don Lohrenz, John Eastman, Dan Singer, Tanya Doke, and Bruce Glennie.
The Breakfast Exchange Club was recognized with numerous awards of achievement at the 2018 National Exchange Club convention in Reno, Nevada: The Big E Award, the National Service Award, and the Best Club Bulletin Award for the monthly newsletter.
Members also were recognized for outstanding service to Exchange.
Leif Welhaven was elected vice president for Region 2, which includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. Welhaven will work with districts within Region 2 to promote community service, membership growth/retention and new club development. Welhaven was awarded the Distinguished District President Award for his outstanding contributions toward new club development and membership recruitment in the Yellowstone District (Montana/Idaho). Welhaven was also awarded a District Presidential Award. The Yellowstone District was recognized for recruiting more new members in 2017-2018 than any other Exchange district in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Quentin Eggart was recognized for his outstanding contributions to new club development in the Yellowstone District. Eggart is a past Yellowstone District President and a past president of the Breakfast Exchange Club of Billings.
Kaufman was recognized with the Distinguished Club Treasurer award for 2017-2018. In addition to serving as treasurer, Kaufman currently is also a past president.
Parish was recognized with the Distinguished Club President award for 2017-2018.
Harmon was recognized with the Distinguished Club Secretary award for 2017-2018. In addition to serving a third term as secretary, Harmon recently completed her one-year term as secretary of the Yellowstone District and was recognized for her publication of the Breakfast Exchange Club’s monthly bulletin.
