Emergency responders move the driver of a car to the ambulance after a two-vehicle crash on Aronson Avenue at the Alkali Creek Road intersection Monday. The wreck occurred at 3:24 p.m. when a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo that was heading south on Aronson Avenue attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Alkali Creek Road and struck a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that was traveling north on Aronson. The driver of the Monte Carlo, a 50-year-old woman, was taken to a Billings hospital. Her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to a release from Billings Police Sgt. Ronda Fox. The woman was cited for failure to yield, driving suspended and no insurance. There were two children — ages 11 and 13 — in the Monte Carlo; they were treated and released. The driver of the Jeep — a 24-year-old woman — was not injured. Both of the vehicles were towed.
