Two Billings Fire Department engines a ladder truck and a battalion chief responded to an early morning garage fire on Heather Drive Monday.
The call came in at about 3:45 a.m., said Battalion Chief, Ed Regele.
The garage was one in a long row of garages across the street from an equally long row of apartments, he said.
The garage was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no one was injured in the incident.
The owner of the garage's contents was one of the first people who called 911, after he thought he saw flames through a window, Regele said. He quickly ran to get his car out of the enclosure but was unable to get his other property out before fire engulfed the space.
The fire's cause is still under investigation.
