Heavy rainfall Thursday night prompted the National Weather Service in Billings to issue a flood warning for urban areas and streams in Billings, Laurel and Huntley. Lockwood, Shepherd, Ballantine and Acton are also included in the warning.
The warning went into effect at about 11:30 p.m. and will remain active until 1:15 a.m. Friday morning.

Rainfall rates of close to an inch an hour will cause flooding in poor drainage areas, including underpasses, according to NWS.
NWS would like to remind residents to not drive vehicles through flooded roadways.
