But the snow and rain is expected to return, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 40 percent chance of rain and snow Wednesday night with temperatures in the low 30s.
Snow accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch.
An 80 percent chance of rain and snow is expected for Thursday through that evening, with about 2 inches of snow accumulation. The National Weather Service forecasts a 70 percent chance of snow for the area Friday, with temperatures in the mid 40s for the rest of the week.
