Isis and Thor are a bonded pair of 7-year-old lynx point Siamese cats available for adoption at Help for Homeless Pets. The large, short-haired cats are sister and brother. The playful pair have always been indoor cats. They’re not very needy, but they love curling up in a lap to be petted. They sleep, eat and cuddle together and with their humans. They’re also great with other cats and dogs, and they love kids.
They’ve been spayed and neutered, and vaccinated against distemper.
Many other animals are also available at HHP.
Isis and Thor need to stay together. To adopt the pair for $125, which includes their toys and carriers, contact Angie by calling 860-8735, or go to Help for Homeless Pets, located at 2910 Hannon Road. The shelter is open from 1 to 6 p.m. daily.
The organization needs donations of clean towels, sheets, blankets, pillowcases and quilts. Other needs include paper towels, bleach, laundry soap, dish soap, automatic dishwasher detergent, disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer.
Pet toys and treats are needed. Pet food needs include kitten milk formula, Purina cat and kitten chow, grain-free cat and kitten food, canned cat food and canned dog food.
Donations of dog leashes and collars, and clumping, clay or pellet cat litter are also appreciated.
Gift certificates to any hardware store for maintenance and repair projects are always accepted.
HHP also seeks volunteers who can help with repairs and maintenance projects, as well as those who can help with general cleaning. To volunteer, text or call Ashley at 861-3342 or Angie at 860-8735.
