Almost 900 students in Billings and Shepherd schools received age-appropriate books Friday.

United Way of Yellowstone County and First Interstate Bank delivered the books to the young students at 13 local schools.

Participating schools included Broadwater, Beartooth, Bitterroot, Bench, McKinley, Washington, Miles Avenue, Ponderosa, Newman and Orchard in Billings; South Elementary in Laurel; Lockwood; and Shepherd.
