A Shepherd man was taken to the hospital Friday night after his pickup truck rolled near Shepherd.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Kyle Hayter said that at 7:45 p.m., Alton Crozier, 45, was northbound on Shepherd Road when, for an unknown reason, the truck left the road and entered a ditch on the east side of the road near Haymeadow Drive. The truck then hit a fence and rolled onto its driver's side.

The Worden Volunteer Fire Department had to remove Crozier from the vehicle, and he was taken by ambulance to Billings Clinic to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Hayter said.

Crozier was cited for driving under the influence, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license.
