Kids shopping

Kylee Bryant, 6, of Rapelje, looks for gifts with her "personal shopper" Tosha Vavak of Columbus. More than 100 young children from Stillwater County purchased gifts for their family during Project Hope's second annual kids-only Christmas shopping day in early December.

First Interstate’s former drive-up and operations center, located at 55 North Woodard in Absarokee, now serves as a food distribution point for Project Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services to feed the hungry and help the needy in Stillwater County.

First Interstate Bank donated the building to Project Hope in July.

Project Hope will distribute food boxes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month. To learn more about Project Hope, sign up for your first food box, donate or volunteer, call 406-322-8537.
