For the 15th consecutive year, runners will race through the streets of Billings to compete in the Billings Association of Realtors’ Quality of Life Run.
According to a press release, this year’s run benefits CASA of Yellowstone County and the organization’s efforts to provide a volunteer advocate for each child in the local court system because of abuse or neglect. Once this year's race is completed and the donation has been made to CASA, the Quality of Life program will have surpassed $600,000 in donations to local nonprofits and community projects.
The Quality of Life Run on Saturday, Aug. 11, is sponsored by First Interstate Bank and organized by the Billings Association of Realtors. It features a 2-mile run/walk and 5-mile run that each follow a route through the Rims, Pioneer Park and parts of downtown Billings. Both runs begin at 8 a.m. The event concludes with an awards ceremony in the TransWestern Parking lot at 9 a.m. Registration for the event is open through Friday at qualityofliferun.com.
