HELENA – The Board of Regents will meet Monday to talk about budget priorities for the 2003 Legislature.
The informal meeting in Helena will be a precursor to the Regents March 21-22 meeting in Havre, when the board should get its first look at a preliminary budget request.

A draft proposal from Regent Mark Semmens of Great Falls includes maintaining the schools current services and quality, adding new programs to meet market and employment needs in Montana, promoting rural development, making college more accessible for Montanans and investing in buildings and technology.
Mondays meeting will be from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Board of Regents Conference Rooms, located at 2500 Broadway in Helena. It will be an open meeting.
