Retrospective: Main Street

From the Retrospective: Billings Streets series

Billings' Main Street is an oddity when compared to most streets with that name. The street, known to some older residents as Old Highway 312 or even Highway 10, wasn't called Main Street until the second half of the 20th Century, when suburban growth expanded Billings into the Heights. The street is the busiest street in Montana, according to Montana Department of Transportation statistics.
