Laurel Crash

Two were injured when a motorhome crashed off of the I-90 overpass onto Highway 212 in Laurel at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday morning. June 20, 2017.

Two Washington men were seriously injured Tuesday when the the motor home they were traveling in plunged off an overpass onto U.S. Highway 212 near Laurel.

Montana Highway Patrol received a report of the crash at about 3:35 a.m. The RV was westbound on Interstate 90 pulling a trailer with a car in it when the wreck occurred, said Trooper David Munson.

The RV drove over a median and fell from an overpass onto Highway 212. The two men were the only occupants. One was airlifted to a local hospital, and the other was taken by ambulance. Both had serious injuries, Munson said. 

The northbound lanes of traffic on 212 were blocked by the wreckage Tuesday morning. Traffic to Laurel was being rerouted on I-90 to the East Laurel Interchange.
