Two events will be held Saturday in Billings promoting opposing views on the question of same-sex marriage.
The Laurel-based Montana Family Foundation is holding a fundraiser Saturday from 3-6 p.m. in the parking lot of Emmanuel Baptist Church, 328 S. Shiloh Road.
For a suggested donation of $20 a person, people will get hot chicken nuggets, sauces, coleslaw and chocolate chip cookies.
Organizers said the event is to support biblically based family values and traditional marriage.
A second event, a "Fairness for ALL Rally" will take place Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 4342 Montana Sapphire Lane.
The event is sponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Montana Human Rights Network, Not in Our Town, the Pride Foundation, The Awareness Project and the Pita Pit of Billings.
Pita Pit will donate 75 percent of the proceeds from sandwich sales at the event to organizations working for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality in Montana.
The event will celebrate same-sex couples and their families. A rally begins at 1:30 p.m.
