Students at Skyview High School are being sent home after a power outage.
The power at the Heights' school went out around 10 a.m., said Scott Anderson, executive director of secondary education for Billings School District 2. A cause was not immediately known, he said.
No one was injured and there are no safety concerns, Anderson said. The district's automatic "robocall" system will notify parents and the district has arranged for busses to transport kids.
It will be later this afternoon before the problem can be fixed, Anderson said. Because most of Skyview's classrooms don't have windows, it is too dark to continue classes, he said.
