Billings residents can look forward to blue skies and sunshine on Wednesday with temperatures reaching 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Areas of dense fog are expected Wednesday morning from east of Miles City to Baker, reducing visibility to less than half a mile. It's expected to burn off later in the morning.
Moisture from the recent snowfall and fog will create slick spots on roadways in the morning hours.
Some fog is expected in the Billings area, and will also burn off during the morning.
The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of snow after midnight as temperatures drop to the low 30s.
Rain showers are expected to return to the area later in the week, with a 60 percent chance of rain on Thursday with temperatures in the mid 50s.
