A company that provides call centers and customer service to third-party organizations has chosen Billings for expansion, according to a press release.
ROI Solutions, which is headquartered in American Fork, Utah, will expand to up to 100 employees in Billings by this fall, adding about 60 jobs. The company first came to Billings in February, said Allison Corbyn, director of new business recruitment at Big Sky Economic Development.
Since its arrival in February the company has expanded to 40 employees, she said. It’s hoping to expand to 60 by the end of summer, and up to 100 employees by the fall.
A company of that size is significant for that Billings area, she said. The majority of businesses in the area are small businesses employing less than 100 people.
“It’s always good when you see a company has moved to Billings, or expanded their businesses because that is a good story to tell other companies from that same area, like other Utah companies, they might be successful here,” she said. “It’s good to diversify in our community.”
While the company generally will be providing customer service and call centers to customers outside of our market, Corbyn said they take clients of all sizes and could benefit local businesses in need of call center services.
In vetting Billings as a location ROI Solutions wanted a market that was similar to Utah, she said.

“We were looking for a market that offered a quality workforce, that was easy for us to visit, and where our team leaders from Utah would want to live, and Billings made the short list,” Rob Schow, Chief Executive Officer for ROI Solutions said.
Schow reached out to Corbyn at Big Sky Economic Development, which sealed the deal to move to Billings.
“She made it so much easier to evaluate Billings as a possible market for growing our business,” he said.
The company is looking to expand employees, and is likely looking for those with experience in customer service, Corbyn said.
“It’s great for service industry workers who might be wanting to get into an office setting,” she said.
The company has three locations in the U.S., including Billings and two in Utah. It also has a center in the Philippines and two locations in Central America and Europe, the release states.
It employs 600 people in the two Utah locations, and 300 in its overseas branches, and offers services in more than 27 languages.
