The Western Heritage Center will host the Museum of the Rockies Starlab from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. The high-tech, portable dome, which is managed by the Carter County Museum, provides unique studies of the solar system including Jupiter, Earth, Mars and the stars.
The Starlab event is paired with a High Noon Lecture. John Ashley, photographer, will present “Saving Our Stars: Documenting the Montana Night Sky” at noon.
WHC will offer free admission to the museum and the lecture that day, according to a press release from the museum.
