The 30th annual Montana Women's Run in Billings is May 7, and there is still time to sign up for the largest women's event in the state.
Pasta Night is at 6:30 p.m. on May 6 at the MSU-Billings ballroom.
The featured speaker is Joan Benoit Samuelson, who, at the age of 27, won the first women's Olympic marathon in 1984.
Samuelson won the Boston Marathon in 1979 and 1983. Racing this month in her first Boston Marathon since 1993, Samuelson, 53, finished in 2 hours, 51 minutes and 29 seconds.
The meal is sponsored by The Olive garden and is $10 per person. For the fourth year, Billings Clinic and Blue Cross Blue Shield will hold a free Health Expo for the Pasta Night registrants. The Health Expo is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at MSU-Billings and will feature interactive exhibits and presentations where women can learn more about fitness, nutrition and better health.
