The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a firearm was discharged during what may have been a road rage incident earlier tonight in Lockwood.

No one was injured and the people involved have been identified and spoken with, according to YCSO Lt. Dan Paris.

No arrests had been made as of 9:50 p.m.

The incident was reported at around 8 p.m. in the area of the I-90, I-94 interchange and two vehicles were involved, Paris said.

Due to the ongoing status of the investigation, Paris declined to provide further details about the parties involved, what events may have led up to the gun being fired, and circumstances around the gun being fired.

"It's all part of what we're investigating," Paris said.
