I was shooting a group of women working together, without talking to move a horse around a set of cones at the Itancan Roundpen in Billings recently. Groups from Angela's Piazza, Women's walk-in center were using the horses for therapy. After the group finished working with the horse they got out of the ring and went to their seats. It is very easy for a photographer to see that everything is over and look down at the back of the camera to preview the images they just shot. Instead of doing this I kept my eye on the ring. This women stopped and shared an unusual moment with this horse as the others exited. It was really the only intimate sort of moment I saw the entire time I was at the assignment. I shot this with my Nikon D2X and Nikon 70-200 f:2.8 VR lens.
