On Halloween night, my husband and I traveled to Billings to spend the night as he was scheduled for surgery the next morning. We stayed with friends in a nice neighborhood. On the morning of Nov. 1, we woke to find someone had broken our car window. Such a senseless act of vandalism. What horrible timing! I needed to get my husband to the surgery center, not deal with vandalism!

The Billings Police were called, but did not come investigate. They stated it would do no good since it was not witnessed. But the report was filed.

My thoughts ran the negative gamut — poor parenting, crappy patrolling, no respect of others' property and much more. And shame on those vandals! There are many better ways to celebrate Halloween and trick or treat. I would have been grateful for an egging.

A friend recommended Speedy Auto Glass for repairs. So after I got hubby to the surgery center, I gave them a call. They were able to work me in and I had a new window in less than an hour. I can't tell you how relieved I felt! My faith in humanity was restored. Thank you, Speedy Auto Glass.
