The Beartooth Ranger District is currently receiving comments on the proposed travel plan. As a Montanan who enjoys camping, hunting, ATVing, motorcycling, fishing and hiking on public land, it is very important to be able to have access to the public lands and forests.
The proposed travel plan for the Pryor Mountains utilizes roads and trails that have existed in the Pryors for decades. These roads and trails need to remain open so all people can have the opportunity to see as much as possible of these beautiful mountains and enjoy all it has to offer. Don't be misled to think that this wonderful place is being destroyed by those of us who enjoy it so much. I don't have a Web site you can go to, so load your family in your car, SUV, 4X4 or take your ATV and go to the Pryor Mountains and enjoy this natural wonder.
National forests are public lands for all people to enjoy, but we need for everyone to be able have access to these lands. Tell the Beartooth District travel planners you want to be able to use your public land and you support Alternative B, the plan the Forest Service themselves support. Speak up for your right to access the Pryor Mountains before it is too late.
