I do not believe that 90 percent of the state of Montana citizens are for increased gun control, including expanded background checks as stated in recent Gazette letters to the editor. Sen. Max Baucus mentioned receiving anti-gun control calls to his office almost 10 to one. It seems as though Baucus voted with the majority of Montanans and Sen. Tester voted with the "D.C. bunch."
If such a new law was to go into effect, someone please explain to me how we can get the criminals to conform to these new regulations. I feel if it's that easy to stop crime by passing a new law, maybe we should pass a law against murder, rape, robbery, using illegal drugs, entering the U.S. illegally. Oops! I guess we already have those laws in effect.
These "bad guys" really aren't playing by the rules. Shame on them.
