Thank you, Billings, for your amazing support at the fourth annual World Water Day, Walk for Water awareness event held on March 19, an international day of observance designed to educate, inspire and motivate people to respond to the global water and sanitation crisis.
Children are particularly affected, and nearly 5,000 die each day from illnesses related to contaminated water, while millions lack access. Children and families in Africa who live in a perpetual struggle to survive will receive support and hope for a better life through the following mission organizations: Family Empowerment Uganda-Canaan Farm and Tender Mercies Outreach Ministries, Uganda: Amani Development Organization and New Hope International Hospital, Tanzania; The Rwanda School Project, Rwanda. We are grateful for the many volunteers and participants who make the event possible, with special thanks to the Senior and West High students and emcee Joey Traywick! The walk for water is free and made possible by our generous and faithful sponsors.
You have made a difference!
