Hello! Does the U.S. Chamber of Commerce believe there are no Democrats doing business with local chamber members in Montana? What is a great big national organization like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (and Karl Rove's Crossroads) doing in Montana politics? Why, of course, they want someone who never votes against corporate will like Denny Rehberg to have a Montana seat in the Senate.
Rehberg has been in Congress long enough! Where did this deficit — all of a sudden so concerning — come from? It came from the ridiculous spending habits of Congress! Don't forget Rehberg is a famous earmark spender. Now Congress wants our poorest citizens to make up the deficit they produced — not the corporate, wealthy 1 percent.
Who stands to benefit from doing away with environmental protections in our state? Not the citizenry! The U.S. Chamber does not have citizens' best interests in mind when it places anti-Tester ads in our local television. Montana doesn't need more government by corporation! It's government by the people and for the people that is missing.
