On July 11, The Gazette published an op-ed from Tim Fox where he complained about things happening in Washington, D.C. His piece focused on reigniting controversy regarding the ACA. He seems inappropriately concerned about the speculation of economic impact that may or may not happen and about which only a few experts can make educated guesses. The fact the SCOTUS ruled on the matter also seems to be lost on Fox. His op-ed is not only ill-informed and divisive; it has nothing to do with the issues he would face within the state of Montana. It lacks focus.
Missing from Fox's piece was what he would actually do to effectively head the state attorney general's office.
Montanans are more focused on finding real solutions. Unlike Fox, we do not view our political process as a game. It's time to stop the posturing and cliches. There is too much at stake and the attorney general's office is too important. We can't allow a misdirected candidate into a position of such high responsibility.
We need an attorney general who is dedicated to what is relevant to our families and our state. We need an attorney general who is concerned about keeping our streets safe, protecting our seniors from fraud and stopping online predators from attacking our children. Let's elect the right person to take on the issues that really matter. Pam Bucy is the only candidate with commitment to state issues and Montana voters and has the courage and experience to lead our state as attorney general. Vote for Montana; vote for Bucy!
