Carlos Molina has been living in Chicago for 26 years. He has been on all satellite shows/interviews, being a fabulous boxer and champ. On Wednesday, just prior to his fight on undercard where he would've been paid $250,000, had international exposure for future fights and provided for his family, Immigration arrested him, refusing to disclose charges: "Mr. Molina is being held on immigration issues."

This man has not been hiding in alleys or sweatshops but in public eye for last 10 years and more, counting his amateur career. Immigration could have demanded explanation years ago or after the fight. The mob isn't behind this for changing fighters means all bets are off. It is the federal government being no good, once again.

Carlos is 30, in the USA since he was 4, as if he had a choice. There have been decades, especially given his international multi-media exposure to resolve “immigration issues” without ruining the man's career and robbing his family of all his earnings. If a boxer doesn't fight he doesn't get paid. His training expenses are lost.

This is just practice for what the USA has in store for all of us — total control and ruination.
