The City Council "voted" in Larry Brewster to fill the vacant councilman position for the Heights. The council, for the good of the people, took away the voting rights of the Heights to save Billings $20,000. It's nice to see the council trying to save money, especially with the numerous lawsuits and botched management contracts that they have recently provided.

As a disenfranchised Heights resident, I would like to make a recommendation. Let's let the council appoint its own members and save the city mucho bucks. Or let's just vote the incumbent council members out of the office that they have sworn to serve. It's nice to have a choice, isn't it?
