Very good letter from Virginia Gross (Jan. 25). I would like to add cell phones. Sen. Verdell Jackson is so worried about a sick person driving under the influence of marijuana but makes no mention of the tens of thousands of people driving around Montana with a cell phone stuck to their ear blabbing about nothing, all at the same time. Obviously the senator has other alternatives than his concerns of medical marijuana patients driving to the clinic or grocery.
Hundreds of people will wreck and many will die because of cell phones over the years if this isn't addressed. It's the same as driving drunk. Verdell should get his priorities right. It helps us know who to vote for.
