My thoughts on Iraq and Afghanistan as a taxpaying, voting citizen and from a family which has served in every war in the history of our nation. Our frontier farming and blue collar roots run back to the forming of this nation in Virginia.
My patriotism runs very strong for our men and women in the armed forces of the United States of America in this guerilla war with different religious sects. The enemy is everywhere — in schools, bedrooms, mosques. Nothing is sacred, and if they can kill us or one of their opposite sects, they get a special spot in their heaven.
Now unless you can prove to me and to the likes of me that these Marines executed these women and children in cold blood beyond a doubt, I don't want any more talk about it.
Oh, ye poor, ignorant people who put our armed forces in the dirtiest guerrilla war in harm's way. It is survival. The enemy is everywhere, and they want to kill you. You do or you die.
