Thanks to Kyle Anderson for utilizing his right to the First Amendment. That right is not protected by the ink that it was written - rather by soldiers, of all ethnic backgrounds, who gave their lives on the battlefield so that he may speak his voice.
I am happy that he has conviction and a spirit of fight in him, but am deeply saddened that this conviction appears to be misdirected. On which basis is the white race superior?
If Anderson were born somewhere else, he might be a person of a different color. Would he hate his own skin? If I had been born somewhere else, I might be a white supremacist. We don't get to choose how we look, but we can choose what we leave in the world. But I guess Anderson's just unlucky because he was born in a land where we have to work so little and are given so much; yet he chose this set of petty beliefs to leave as his legacy.
The Montana Creators Assembly will not cause me to lose any sleep. Great acts of hate produce great acts of love, so Anderson can never win.
