The cap and trade proposal to reduce pollution by not changing the amount of the problem was an ingenuous fiction that would only prove the wisdom from "Through the Looking Glass" which stated that when all changes are made, things are just the same.

Then we suffered through the decision that man is the principal reason for climate change, which ignored the entire study of geology.

The above hallucinations were primarily promoted by the left wing of the Democratic Party.

In my wildest imagination I could not visualize how anyone or any group could trump these fantasies, and then it happened.

The right wing of the Republican Party is calling for jobs to be created after having exported our factories and jobs to China, Mexico, etc., for over 30 years.

And after spending to promote wars where the U.S. did not have a clearly defined economic or other interest, they are advocating smaller government and reduced spending.

The extra right and the extreme left are equally discredited, which leaves the majority to provide a solution to the economic mess that the U.S. and the rest of the world is in. The solution is to embrace the common sense plan to balance the budget that is proposed by sane leaders in both political parties.

We can no longer survive as a prosperous nation if we allow greed to justify our opinions. The old adage of "don't tax he, don't tax me, tax the man behind the tree" is morally unacceptable.
