The Cornell study states that Montana would only gain a few pipeline jobs. What I want to know is who commissioned the study? Was it groups like the National Wildlife Federation or Sierra Club? I received a call from a large Canadian laundry company about a year and a half ago, asking if I could do the personal laundry for a pipeline camp at Baker for 650 men. They stated that there was to be another 650-man pipeline camp in northeastern Montana. Now there might not be 20,000 jobs, but there sure as hell are going to be more than 250 Montana jobs. The pipeline and the mega-loads need to go forward so Montana folks can get good-paying jobs and Montana business prospers.
