The Republicans should stop blaming Gov. Steve Bullock for appointing John Walsh to fill Max Baucus’ Senate seat. There can be no doubt the DNC and the Obama regime waited until there was a clear front-runner, forced Baucus to resign early with the promise of an ambassadorship, and then told Bullock who he would appoint. John Bohlinger is correct that Harry Reid meddled, but that's just politics.
It's no coincidence that Baucus’ campaign contributed $475,000 to the DNC senatorial campaign committee after he was nominated.
