Why is it that with the deficit at an all-time high, unemployment at an all-time high, and a massive shortage of commodities, we, as a nation, keep paying out at least $6 billion dollars a year not to grow anything. Shut down the money, grow more corn and wheat, add jobs, stop the double-digit rise in prices. I'm sure the $6 billion could be used somewhere else. Maybe we could stop giving away wheat and corn until our own needs were met.
