Denny Rehberg's war on women's rights is draconian. Women will suffer greatly if we fail to re-elect Sen. Jon Tester. Rehberg defends oil industry subsidies and millionaires' tax cuts but would eliminate funding to community health centers, Planned Parenthood and Title X, which provide medical assistance, cancer screenings and other lifesaving women's services. Tester has never pandered to the special interests to whom Rehberg gives preference over women's health needs.
Tester and Rehberg differ greatly on many issues — veterans' and women's rights, deficit reduction, health care, maintaining electoral integrity. Rehberg defends the Supreme Court ruling corrupting elections, allowing billionaires to anonymously donate unlimited funds, purchasing candidates at will. The result — millions in out-of-state money for Rehberg's campaign, which stifles the voice of Montanans. His defense that it contributes to free speech is fraudulent.
Conversely, Tester argues that outside corporate and special interest influence has no place in Montana elections. Rehberg's priority — like that of his ultra-conservative supporters — is acquiring and maintaining power by any means, at any cost. Tester, by contrast, stands first and always for Montanans' rights and needs.
In the interest of Montanans, vote to defeat Rehberg's extremism. Return Tester to the United States Senate.
