One dark night a few years ago, my husband and I were traveling home. We had exhausted several types of conversation. Off in the distance we could see a light. When we got close enough, we could see a beautiful American flag fluttering in the spotlight. It reminded us of how much foresight and pride our founders had for those first 13 colonies. It also reminded us of those who fought to protect us and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for all American people.
We again had the opportunity to drive that road again between Roundup and Grass Range, and there was that flag blowing in the afternoon breeze. What an uplifting sight. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank whoever it is who displays the flag so proudly for all of us to see and be reminded of what it means to be an American. Thank you so very much.
